About the Position. We are looking for Quantitative Traders to help us find and trade on price inefficiencies, develop models, manage risk, investigate new products, and push into new business areas. Our trading is based on our own proprietary models, and on busy days we engage in over a million trades across 200 trading venues around the world..

About the Program. Our goal is to give you a real sense of what it's like to work at Jane Street full time. Over the course of your internship, you will explore ways to approach and solve exciting problems within your field of interest through fun and challenging classes, interactive sessions, and group discussions—and then you will have the chance to put those lessons to practical use. They're all technical interviews similar to the phone round, but they are testing for more than just your coding skills (communication, personality...etc.). If you don't make it past the first 2 rounds, they may end your interview day after lunch or after your 3rd interview.
