I think the game's writing peaked in the first arc, was decent enough in the second and third palace, made a second smaller peak in the 4th palace, and kind of dwindled after that.It's actually among the ones that I find the most fun in the game. When you fight Akechi in Shido's Palace there should just be a scene where Haru asks him if he had anything to do with her father's death.
