Mobile home axle hub conversion kit
Received 1 Upvote on 1 Post. I think that most mobile home axles will take 8 lug wheel hubs as they often use a common spindle with trailers. I doubt you will get a 5 lug to work. The key difference between trailer and MH axles is the thickness of the tubing. I am pretty sure you should be able to change over. Pull off your old hub and take it in to your local trailer place. Might be a few miles by you. I just did some at work. Usually see the style you have on mobile homes. I had to replace hub assemblies, brake asemblies, rims, and tires. Mine had no flange for brakes so I had to make one to weld.Part #088-013-00.
