But it smokes like a freight train on start up smells like a gas and oil mixture. Doesn't smoke as much after running a bit. Gonna change the oil again now that the shake down is over . I may need to tune the carburetor ...

Oct 24, 2019 · new would be my choice also. just make sure it has the same cam as the rushmore 103's, and twin cooled. that is as sweet as the twin cam engines ever got. good price, and it is new. the difference between rebuilt and new is simple. the rebuilt has already been worn out once. not a fair statement in part, but there is some wisdom there. also the price on an hd new is pretty ok.:smile Nov 23, 2022 ...
