I had the normal J37 two months ago but the carbon fiber had cracked. Thankfully, it was replaced with j37 low. IMO, I feel more secure with J37 low since it has meshes on top and not full lenoweave. Although, it is harder to lace it up to get the right tightness.Back when I was in college, every guy and girl on the volleyball teams absolutely loved the Kobe 8s. I'll definitely check on the fitment before purchasing them. For a retail price of $120, it's one of the cheaper signature models so my expectations are pretty much kept in check.
