Alrighty I know there is no way of knowing, but I am 38 + 4, FTM, had an appt today and my doctor said I was 90% effaced, 2-3cm dilated and baby is very low. He said he really thinks that the baby will be here in the next few days! He had me schedule a follow up appt for next week but felt confident...I was dilating about 1 cm a week so it was still about 2+ weeks from when I was 2cm dilated until labor started. that makes sense! I was 1 cm last week so that’s probably my case. I was those exact measurements like 2-3 weeks before my first baby arrived. I was 2cm dilated and 60% effaced at my 36 week appt.
