AndyG3 Discussion starter · Jun 16, 2022 (Edited) Having owned both and having put 1000 rds thru my G3C and 3800 thru my G3 here are my conclusions ( based on a small sample!) - The G3C obviously is the result of along line of product improved compact pistols from Taurus and it shows. Great reliability, no issues with magazines, no issues ...I've a PT111-G2 that is well over 10,000 rounds. It still works fine, but is definitely a rust magnet. A lot of the black oxide is worn through. I have to keep after it in the summer with oil. We still have one high round count PT111 G2, it was at 8000 rounds years ago and we've used it for lots of testing after that.
